It comes therefore as no surprise that our customers have turned to us for numerous translation projects related to mobility, sustainability, urban development<\/strong> und public transport infrastructure.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
European Mobility Week<\/strong><\/a>, the European Commission’s flagship awareness-raising campaign on sustainable urban mobility, is run every September by three city networks Eurocities, ICLEI <\/strong>und Polis<\/strong>, together with national coordinators and local campaigners from across Europe. We\u2019ve been providing translation services to Eurocities since 2008 and to ICLEI and Polis since 2010. Moreover, for the third consecutive year we\u2019ve translated the campaign\u2019s Thematic Guidelines<\/a> from English into all the official languages of the European Union.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The other large-scale mobility project we\u2019ve been involved in is EfficienCE<\/a>, a cooperation project funded by the Interreg CENTRAL EUROPE programme that is aimed at reducing the carbon footprint in the region. The project is led by the City of Leipzig<\/a>, and managed by Rupprecht Consult<\/a>. We\u2019ve translated five transnational handbooks for the deployment of energy-efficient public transport infrastructure technologies from English into German, Slovenian, Italian, Czech and Polish.
