When is professional interpreting needed?
A professional interpreting service may be required for both online and onsite events, including:
- Conferences and seminars
- Webinars and workshops
- One-on-one business meetings
- Business tours and field visits
- Onsite and online training sessions
- Political meetings and high-level negotiations
- Debates
- Cultural and stakeholder events
While we primarily work in Europe, our international network of professional interpreters allows us to support events in Asia, the US and Latin America as well.
Our interpreters are trained in remote simultaneous interpreting (RSI) and are familiar with leading online interpretation tools such as Zoom and Microsoft Teams.
Professional interpreters with field-specific expertise
Our interpreters – many of whom are accredited to the EU Institutions – are not just language experts but also specialists in fields including:
- Political science and EU/international affairs
- Energy and the environment
- Chemicals and public health
- Human rights and international law
Since many of our assignments are at the European Parliament or at events organised by other EU Institutions, it is essential that our interpreters have substantial experience in these environments.
We strongly recommend that our partners provide background materials (such as agendas, speeches, presentations, slide decks and videos) and a short briefing before the event. This preparation ensures more accurate and efficient interpretation.
We prepare a customised quote for each interpreting assignment, based on:
- Language pairs required
- Type of interpretation
- Event date and duration
- Technical equipment needed
Don’t hesitate to contact us for further information about our multilingual interpretation services.
